Motorola One Power's Android 9 Pie Update provides a new user interface, improved battery life, and more
Motorola, which has released major updates to its smartphones since its release, has begun to introduce the Android 9.0 Pie Update on the Motorola One Power. The latest Android version will be wirelessly introduced (OTA) for Motorola One Power users in India. As a reminder, Lenovo's low-cost smartphone was launched in the country in September with Android 8.1 Oreo. It's worth noting that the Motorola One Power is part of Google's Android One program, which means it offers timely software updates.
The Motorola One Power Android 9.0 Pie Update comes months after announcing an Android Pie-Soak smartphone trial. The company had previously confirmed that Android Pie for the Motorola One Power will eventually come to market later this year. A recent Geekbench entry had also suggested the Motorola One Power with Android 9.0 Pie, and now we have an official confirmation from Motorola. The company says the Android 9.0 Pie Update offers longer and improved battery life. The phone also receives a new user interface with revised quick settings and a revised split screen. The latest Android update also includes gesture navigation, simplified volume controls, an improved non-disruptive mode and a simpler messaging management mechanism.
