Following the unveiling of the Vivo X23 Star Edition last month, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer has launched the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition in its home country. It is a weakened version of the Vivo X23, which was introduced in September. The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition adds new gradient options to the mix, but it also brings some changes to the RAM, processor, and camera. The new model is equipped with a scaled - down SoC Snapdragon 660 paired with less RAM - 6 GB. In the latest version, Vivo has upgraded the selfie camera to 24.8 megapixels. Remarkably, the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition costs less than the Vivo X23.

Price of the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition

The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition has a price of 2,798 CNY (about 28,900 Rs). It is lower than the price at which the original Vivo X23 was delivered, ie CNY 3,498 (about 37,100 rupees). The smartphone can currently be pre-ordered on the Vivo website in China. However, the smartphone will be available on November 23rd. The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition is available in two gradients - Arctic Morning and Starry Night Ocean.

Specifications of the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition

In terms of specifications, the Vivo in the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition made some changes in terms of processor, RAM, and front camera compared to the original version. The Vivo 23 Symphony Edition is a dual-SIM smartphone with Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS and a 6.41-inch Full HD + (1080 × 2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display, just like the Vivo X23. However, the processor in the smartphone has been shut down on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which replaces the Snapdragon 670 SoC. The handset also has 6GB of RAM, while the original model came with 8GB of RAM.

For optics, the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition also features dual camera setup with a 1: 1-in-1 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 1: 2.4-aperture 13-megapixel secondary sensor and a 125-degree -Super wide angle lens. Instead of a 12-megapixel selfie camera, however, the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition has a 24.8-megapixel front camera. It is noteworthy that there are still 128 GB of internal memory available.
The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition offers the same connectivity options, including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX), GPS, GLONASS, and OTG. It has the same 3,400mAh battery.
